Patchwork Cupcakes

Just a quick post today about new cupcakes I made for Easter

I will get a tutorial up soon!

I used marshmallow fondant. Here is the recipe for marshmallow fondant:

1 bag mini marshmallows
powdered sugar
shortening

Pour bag of mini marshmallows into a microwaveable safe large bowl
Heat for 30 seconds then stir
Heat for additional 30 seconds and stir until all marshmallows are melted

Add about 1/2 bag of powdered sugar to the melted marshmallows

spread onto flowered surface

take the shortening and spread on you hands (trust me..you will look like a nut!) kneed fondant mix with shortening

add shortening as you need it to keep your hands from sticking

keep kneading the fondant until you have a fondant consistency

store in plastic wrap and a zip lock bag

Very Easy!!
